Heart training - how to avoid a heart attack while looking good at the same time

Your heart isn't just for falling in love and annoying people. It's a little pump that works 24/7 - so give it some support!

How much and how intensely?

🔸 150 minutes per week - that's all it takes for your heart to be proud of you.🔸 So 30 minutes, 5 times a week - walking, cycling, dancing in the kitchen... just keep moving.🔸 You don't have to run a marathon - moderate intensity is enough (so you're sweaty, but not dying).

When to get tests done?

🩺 If:– you're over 40– you haven't moved much lately– you have high blood pressure, diabetes, overweight– or you just want to be smart

➡️ Get an EKG, lipid profile, and check your blood pressure. It doesn't hurt, and it could save your life.

How to exercise for a healthy heart?

❤️ Focus on cardio - sounds scary, but it's just:– brisk walking– cycling– swimming– dancing (yes, TikTok counts too)

💪 Add some strength training - because a strong body = less work for the heart.

🧘‍♀️ And don't forget about relaxation - stress is your circulatory system's biggest saboteur.

Training for every heart

You don't have to be an athlete to have a healthy heart. Just a bit of movement, common sense, and occasional check-ups. Your heart will applaud you (literally).
